Also known as the Singur Dam, this man-made reservoir lies about 36 km from Sangareddy.   Constructed for irrigation, hydroelectricity and as a drinking-water source, it also provides scenic views and a sense of openness with large water expanses. A longer outing compared to spots very close to the town, but worth it if you have a half-day and want to relax by a big waterbody.
